Visit to Seoul October 2017

In October 2017 we visited Seoul for a short break as a friend was getting married out there. It’s an interesting country and culture. I found it a bit difficult as I don’t eat red meat and there is a lot of pork eaten there. In many cases the food is quite spicy so I was eating large breakfasts in the hotel we stayed in as they served a mixture of food.

We were very lucky because our friend was marrying a Korean girl so we had a much better introduction than the normal tourist would.

The photo is of a statue of Admiral Yi. He defeated the Japanese in 10 different naval battles and is therefore a national hero.
