Pinte Besson – Lausanne

Today we visited Pinte Besson, perhaps the oldest tavern in Lausanne. We only stopped for a coffee but it has beer and wine and apparently very good fondue which I will definitely try the next time we visit. It’s a lovely old building so I’m sure that the Health and Safety brigade would have a fit at the possibilities of banging your head or falling down the twisting and tiny steps of the stairs to the first floor where the toilets are located. It is located at Rue de l’Ale 4, 1003 Lausanne, Switzerland.
