Fête de la Tulipe – Morges, Switzerland

The 2018 Fête de la Tulipe started yesterday, the 31st of March, and will run until the 6th of May. There weren’t too many flowers to see today the 1st of April but during the coming weeks there will be countless more flowering in the Parc de L’Independance. After a couple of rainy days and a cloudy morning the afternoon was at least partly sunny. Even though it was Easter Sunday there were many visiting the town and the wonderful Cafe Balsac was open for some excellent chocolate, tea and coffee.
Being a nice afternoon we also got to see from the parc a great view across Lac Leman.
