I was very lucky at the end of March this year to return to Paris. You cannot visit this wonderful city without going to the very impressive Eiffel Tower. It was a fairly nice Spring day but unfortunately the sky wasn’t blue on this occasion. I hope that it will be the next time.
While visiting some friends who were attending a French language training course for teachers in Liege we spent some time walking around this very interesting city. Down by the river there is an interesting statue of a diver, sculpted in 1939 by Idel Ianchelevici.
The 2018 Fête de la Tulipe started yesterday, the 31st of March, and will run until the 6th of May. While walking around Lausanne recently we saw this piece of timely and topical graffiti. So far I have only seen one example of it although it is a stencil I guess so we should be able to see other examples at some point.
Walking around Liege in August of 2017 I came across this chair that was in need of a good home. It was slightly damaged but then what do you expect for free?
